Employer Industry: Cybersecurity Solutions Why consider this job opportunity: Salary up to $100,000 Eligible for bonuses and restricted stock units (RSUs) Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization Dynamic and innovative work environment within the cybersecurity sector Chance to make a significant impact by selling critical security solutions to public sector agencies What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Sell security solutions to State, Local, and Education (SLED) agencies, aiming to exceed annual recurring revenue quotas Prospect and generate new business opportunities within accounts to maintain a robust sales pipeline Collaborate with customer success teams to ensure timely renewals and identify expansion opportunities Maintain accurate documentation and data within sales systems (Salesforce, Highspot, Close Plan) Act as a customer advocate with internal teams to prioritize initiatives that drive revenue growth What is Required (Qualifications): Minimum 2+ years of direct sales experience in prospecting and closing SLED accounts Proven track record of closing new accounts and growing existing customer relationships Demonstrated success in negotiating with large organizations and handling complex sales Experience in cybersecurity software sales, particularly subscription software/SaaS BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Experience in early-stage companies or start‑ups, particularly in competitive environments Familiarity with security, email, cloud, and AI technologies We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal‑opportunity employment.
