Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support to our in-house Brand Communications and Creative Services team. This role will focus on coordinating marketing activities, managing logistics for marketing projects, and handling the administrative tasks that keep the department running smoothly. The Marketing Coordinator will assist with the execution of campaigns, podcasts, ensure accurate documentation, liaise with internal teams and cooperative members to support brand communications and creative services efforts.

Hiring Salary Range: $64,000‑$99,000 (depending on grade level)
Responsibilities
Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns and events, ensuring that timelines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
Podcast Management: Support the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate podcast initiatives, including scheduling recordings, coordinating guests and stakeholders, managing content calendars, production timelines, and distribution and promotion efforts.
Event Logistics: Coordinate logistics for marketing events, conferences, and webinars, including managing attendee lists, booking venues, shipping materials, and handling on‑site setup as needed.
Internal and Member Communication: Serve as a liaison between the Brand Communications and Creative Services team and other departments and members to ensure initiatives align with company goals and stakeholders are informed of progress.
Production Schedule: Help organize and coordinate upcoming video shoots, including call sheets and schedules for all parties involved.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Brand Communications and Creative Services department, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, managing correspondence, and organizing files.
Collateral Management: Manage the inventory and distribution of materials such as brochures, promotional items, and branded merchandise.
Data Entry and Reporting: Maintain and update marketing databases and CRM systems, ensure data accuracy, compile performance reports, and assist with tracking marketing metrics and KPIs.
Document Preparation: Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and reports for internal and external use, ensuring all materials adhere to brand standards.
Content Coordination: Collaborate with team members to ensure timely development and distribution of marketing collateral, newsletters, and internal communications; plan, manage, and execute corporate and member events and sponsorships when appropriate, including occasional nights and weekends.
Compliance: Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations, laws, standards, and best practices.
Overtime: Ability to work overtime at any time of the day or week is considered an essential function of the job due to Tri‑State’s obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service.
Other Duties/Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Training
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, And Ability
Computer proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Proficiency with project management software.
Exceptional attention to detail, effective verbal and visual communication skills, and an overall confident and competent presence.
Confident public speaker.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong people skills and ability to communicate to a variety of audiences.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to give and receive direction and/or critique.
Experience
Five (5) to eight (8) years of marketing communications and brand experience.
Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating marketing communications programs and campaigns.
Other
Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnight travel.
Desired Job Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of the creative process from start to finish.
Previous agency experience.
Note: There is one position available, and this position will be filled at one of four job grade levels: Marketing Analyst I (grade 5), Marketing Analyst II (grade 6), or Marketing Analyst III (grade 7). This decision will be based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate and Tri‑State business needs at the time of hire.
