About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Communications to play a pivotal role in enhancing its global reputation and advancing its mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive external communication strategies that align with the organization's strategic priorities in humanitarian response, global health, and economic development. This executive will lead a high-performing team and work closely with senior leadership to ensure that the organization's narrative is compelling, consistent, and supports its values. Key responsibilities include managing the external image of the President & CEO, overseeing media relations, and designing innovative, donor-centered communication strategies to drive philanthropic growth. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years' experience in external communications, with a proven track record in managing executive visibility, global media, and digital platforms. They should be adept at crafting persuasive narratives, and fundraising content, and be capable of tailoring messaging to diverse cultural and political contexts. A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, the Vice President will be expected to bring a proactive, innovative mindset and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving global environment. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and a deep commitment to the mission and values of the organization, including a passion for global health, humanitarian action, and sustainable development.
