Senior Sales Account Manager – Microsoft Enterprise Consulting


Location: Bellevue, WA (Hybrid – 2 days/week)


We're partnering with a digital engineering and consulting firm delivering enterprise transformation initiatives within Microsoft-aligned environments (AI, Cloud, Data, Cybersecurity).

They are hiring a Senior Sales Account Manager to drive new business and expand strategic enterprise accounts within the Microsoft ecosystem.


This is a hunter-focused role responsible for creating and closing new opportunities — not a relationship-only or inherited account management position.


Core Responsibilities

  • Drive net-new business and expansion within enterprise Microsoft-aligned accounts, building pipeline from white space
  • Sell SOW-based consulting engagements across AI, cloud, data, and digital transformation
  • Navigate multi-threaded enterprise sales cycles (Manager → VP → C-level)
  • Partner with delivery and technical teams to scope, position, and close solutions
  • Own the full sales cycle from pipeline creation through close and account growth


Deal Profile

  • Average deal size: $500K–$750K (SOW-based, enterprise engagements)
  • Sales cycle: ~4–6 months
  • Quota: $2.5M–$2.75M annually
  • Sales motion: consultative, multi-threaded enterprise selling (not transactional or high-volume)


Compensation & Structure

  • Base salary + uncapped commission
  • 3% commission on revenue generated
  • Year 1 OTE: $140K–$200K+
  • Top performers: $400K–$500K+
  • Full benefits + 401(k)


Ideal Background

  • 4–8+ years of B2B services sales experience
  • Proven experience selling SOW / project-based consulting services (not only staffing)
  • Background in digital transformation, cloud, AI, or consulting environments
  • Demonstrated ability to build pipeline from white space
  • Experience closing mid-to-large enterprise deals ($250K+)
  • Comfortable selling into technical and business stakeholders


Not a Fit If

  • Primarily staff augmentation/staffing sales background
  • SMB or transactional SaaS sales without enterprise deal complexity
  • Account management without true new business ownership
