Ticket Taker Position
The Great Lakes Loons are the High-A Minor League affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Our mission is to create memorable and meaningful experiences through offering fun, family-friendly, affordable and inclusive entertainment. You're enthusiastic, outgoing and excited to be the first person that Loons Fans interact with when they walk up to Dow Diamond. You love talking to people and are detail-oriented, ensuring accurate and efficient entry to the park. You're looking to make some extra money with little stress, short shifts and a tremendous support staff. The Ticket Taker position is the perfect part-time summer job. You will be stationed at either the Home Plate or Outfield Gate. You will be responsible for scanning tickets and assisting fans with any basic questions that they may have. Ticket scanning is as simple as pointing and click a button, so you'll be a rockstar in no time. You will also be responsible for monitoring incoming and outgoing traffic throughout your shift to ensure ballpark integrity and safety. Shifts vary in length based on need and game start time. A typical shift would be one of the following: 4pm
8pm. 5:30pm
8pm. 5:30pm
10pm. You will need reliable transportation and a good attitude. This position will begin April 3rd and end August 30th. That period is flexible, as we are more than willing to work with your schedule. You will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed with our game schedule.
