What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead major ecosystem partner initiatives and develop strategic plans for partner growth
Maintain and manage relationships with GitLab’s field sales organization and major partners
Design and execute comprehensive joint business plans with strategic partners
Engage in quarterly business reviews and annual planning within the Ecosystem organization
Provide cloud‑related forecasts and prepare necessary reports and presentations
What is Required (Qualifications)
Experience selling software development tools or application lifecycle management solutions
Strong network across the partner ecosystem in the Italy region
Expertise in Partner Ecosystems and the Cloud market within the Italy region
Proven experience with B2B sales and selling open‑source solutions
Fluent in English and Italian, with strong communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Established personal network within the industry
Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a results‑oriented perspective
Familiarity with GitLab and experience using Salesforce
Willingness to travel up to 50% as required by the position
