
CGP: Property Accountant/AR

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $95,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities: Process daily cash receipts and apply payments accurately to tenant accounts. Review and interpret complex retail lease documents to calculate billing adjustments. Maintain and update tenant profiles and lease data in the Yardi accounting system. Generate and transmit monthly billing, utility statements, and related correspondence. Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports and explain delinquent payments. Requirements:
Assist with rent collections, resolve payment discrepancies, and calculate late charges. Review utility usage reports and coordinate monthly utility billing. Handle tenant inquiries and prepare reconciliations of charges and payments. Input tenant sales data and generate monthly sales and analysis reports. Support lease administration tasks and process vendor payments and reimbursements. Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Real Estate, or Finance, or have 3+ years of relevant experience. Demonstrate working knowledge of Yardi or similar property management accounting software. Show familiarity with commercial or retail lease documents and terminology. Possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows. Exhibit excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
