Prepare competitive bids for high-volume small commercial and interior fit-out projects. Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and scope requirements. Create accurate quantity takeoffs across multiple trades. Solicit subcontractor pricing, manage bid coverage, and perform scope reviews. Evaluate proposals and prepare bid tabs for comparison and alignment. Assist in development of budgets, conceptual estimates, and pricing exercises. Coordinate closely with project managers and estimating leadership on bid strategy. Maintain organized documentation, historical pricing, and estimate files. Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools. Participate in handoff meetings with operations teams following project award. A successful Construction Estimator - Commercial Projects should have: Experience as an Estimator with a commercial GC Background in small commercial or interiors projects (corporate office, medical office, retail, etc.) Ability to manage multiple bids concurrently in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of construction drawings, scopes, and trade sequencing Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with tight deadlines Strong communication and collaboration skills Local to Charlotte (required) No hybrid or remote options - must work fully on-site What's on Offer
