My client is a mid-size commercial General Contractor serving the Greater Cincinnati market is seeking an Estimator to join its growing team. The company specializes in high-quality commercial construction projects across corporate, healthcare, light industrial, institutional, and municipal sectors. Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing. Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications. Review plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents thoroughly. Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier proposals. Assist in developing bid packages and scope clarifications. Support value engineering efforts and identify cost-saving opportunities. Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing records. Participate in pre-bid meetings and internal estimate reviews. Assist with proposal preparation and bid submissions. 3-7+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction. Experience working for a General Contractor or Construction Management firm preferred. Proficiency with estimating software (Bluebeam, ProEst, Sage Estimating, or similar). Strong skills in Microsoft Excel. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. What's on Offer
