Junior Product Owner

SmartVault is hiring a Junior Product Owner to join our team and learn how technology transforms business. This is the perfect role for a recent college graduate eager to dive into product management, develop essential business and technical skills, and work hands-on within the software development lifecycle. You'll contribute ideas, learn industry best practices, and help shape projects alongside experienced product leaders, engineers, and designers. What You'll Do

Collaborate with experienced product management and cross-functional teams on real features and projects. Help write user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation for new and existing features. Participate in agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retros. Conduct light industry and competitor research to understand market needs. Analyze basic product data to spot usage patterns and trends (training provided). Collect and organize user and stakeholder feedback to help prioritize development. Regularly communicate product updates to team members and business stakeholders. Build technical, business, and collaboration skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment. What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree (any discipline encouraged, including business, technology, or liberal arts). Ability to learn new concepts quickly no direct industry experience required. Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain ideas to different audiences. Curiosity about how technology transforms business and customer experiences. Collaborative mindset, willing to ask questions and work with teams. Basic comfort with spreadsheets, presentations, or collaborative online tools (e.g., Miro, Lucidchart or willingness to learn). Bonus Points

Internships, group projects, or campus activities related to business, technology, software, or leadership. Knowledge of concepts like Agile/SCRUM, user stories, or product lifecycle from class, work, or personal exploration. Exposure to SaaS or cloud software
