Prepare detailed electrical estimates for commercial construction projects. Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Analyze project requirements to develop accurate labor, material, and equipment costs. Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing. Develop proposal documents, bid packages, and scope clarifications. Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to align pricing with constructability. Review potential project risks, value-engineering opportunities, and cost-saving alternatives. Maintain current knowledge of market pricing, industry trends, and code requirements. Support estimating department process improvement and standardization initiatives. 5+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial construction. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC codes, and commercial installation practices. Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst, or similar). Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and technical documents with strong attention to detail. Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to work under deadlines while managing multiple bids. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred. What's on Offer
