Data And Donor Services Specialist
The Data & Donor Relations Specialist supports the integrity of the donor database and ensures timely, accurate gift processing and acknowledgment. This role serves as the primary point of contact for donor inquiries and plays an essential role in delivering a positive, responsive donor experience. Working closely with the VP of Development, the Specialist supports all aspects of donor gift processing and acknowledgment and assist the development team with multiple campaigns, events, donor communications and engagement efforts. Database Management & Gift Processing Maintain accurate donor records in Blackbaud CRM, ensuring timely entry of gifts, pledges, and donor interactions. Process all gifts (individual, foundation, corporate, in-kind, online, United Way, and matching gifts) with accuracy and attention to detail. Generate standard reports for campaigns, donor analysis, and financial reconciliation. Assist in donor segmentation and list preparation for appeals and email campaigns. Support the donor engagement process through timely data entry and tracking. Create and manage online giving forms and ensure electronic gifts are properly recorded. Donor Acknowledgment & Stewardship Manage all aspects of the gift acknowledgement process. Execute timely gift acknowledgment processes, customizing correspondence as directed. Respond promptly and professionally to donor inquiries via phone and email. Maintain development email inboxes and route inquiries as needed. Support stewardship efforts through accurate tracking of donor preferences and giving history. Financial & Administrative Support Complete monthly reconciliation of gift records in coordination with Finance. Maintain accurate gift records for all donations. Support annual surveys and system reporting requirements. Coordinate all direct mail production with print vendors, managing timelines, budget, proofing, quantities, and delivery. Submit and track purchase requisitions and invoices to ensure accurate budget alignment. Manage incoming and outgoing mail for the development team, supporting timely donor communications. Development & Fundraising Support Assist with all aspects of fundraising, as requested, including campaign development, donor stewardship, event planning and execution, content development for communications, and special projects. Education, Qualifications, Licensure and Experience Required: Bachelor's Degree in related field such as public administration, communications, or public policy with 1 or more years of experience in data administration, nonprofit or fundraising experience OR high school degree and 3 years of experience in data administration and/or nonprofit fundraising.
