Overview
Texas A&M Engineering is looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Multimedia Production Specialist III to plan, shoot, edit, and deliver high‑quality video and photo content for digital, social, marketing, and internal communications. Engineering Communications tells the story of Texas A&M Engineering, and this role supports brand storytelling through polished visual media, strong editing, and consistent creative execution across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
Video Production
Plan, storyboard, and execute video projects from concept to final delivery
Film on‑location and/or in‑studio, including interviews, events, product shoots, and promotional content
Set up and manage lighting, audio, and camera equipment for professional‑quality results
Edit video content for various formats (social, web, ads, presentations, etc.)
Add motion graphics, titles, transitions, sound design, and color correction as needed
Export and optimize final videos for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, websites, etc.)
Photography
Capture high‑quality photography for marketing, products, events, portraits, and brand content
Edit and retouch photos while maintaining a consistent brand look
Organize and manage photo libraries, metadata, and file structures
Deliver images in appropriate formats for print and digital use
Creative + Brand Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, design, and leadership teams to align content with brand goals
Ensure visual consistency across all deliverables
Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, content series, and storytelling
Maintain production schedules and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Asset & Equipment Management
Maintain and manage cameras, lenses, lighting, audio gear, and accessories
Ensure proper backup, storage, and organization of all raw and final assets
Follow best practices for file naming, archiving, and version controls, and schedule work assignments and projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years of related experience.
Preferred
Strong skills in video editing and photo editing
Knowledge of lighting, composition, audio recording, and camera operation
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once
Strong attention to detail and storytelling instincts
Comfortable working with people on camera and directing talent when needed
Helpful
Experience creating content for social media and paid ads
Motion graphics experience (After Effects or similar)
Drone video/photo experience (FAA Part 107 is a plus if applicable)
Experience with studio setups and product photography
Basic knowledge of branding, marketing, and content strategy
Experience with the following tools and software:
Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop
Adobe After Effects (optional/plus)
DaVinci Resolve (optional/plus)
Final Cut Pro (optional)
Cinema cameras, Mirror‑less camera systems, gimbals, lav/boom mics, audio capture, studio lighting, etc.
