We are currently looking for
Assistant Director Respiratory Care
Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
Manages the daily activities of the department including supervising staff, evaluating performance, scheduling staff, and enforcing disciplinary measures.
Demonstrates clinical competence in respiratory care and keeps up with advances in technology or practice in the field and new therapeutic modalities. Identifies staff deficiencies and conducts appropriate in-services as required.
Acts as an educational resource for all staff.
Manage and maintain the department equipment. This includes maintaining the preventative maintainence and repairs. Monitors all rental equipment.
Requires to be on-call as needed.
Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care (preferred)
Current NYS Respiratory License Current NBRC credential of RRT BLS
Very Generous paid time off 290 hours/year.
40 hour work week, FLEXIBLE.
