
Commercial Lines Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager (CSR) to deliver high-quality client service and manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. This role focuses on servicing property & casualty (P&C) accounts, supporting renewals, and acting as a key liaison between clients, producers, and carrier partners.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and experienced in handling small to mid-market commercial accounts .
Key Responsibilities
Manage a book of business including new and renewal commercial accounts.
Provide timely and accurate client service, ensuring responses within 24 hours .
Process client requests using agency management systems (e.g., Applied EPIC ), including certificates of insurance and policy servicing.
Support account renewals by marketing to carrier partners and preparing submissions.
Develop and present coverage summaries, proposals, and client documentation.
Act as a liaison between clients, producers, and insurance carriers .
Assist Producers/Sales Agents in maintaining and growing their client portfolio.
Continuously stay updated on property & casualty insurance markets and trends .
Required Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience managing commercial insurance accounts (5+ years preferred).
Active Ohio Property & Casualty Insurance License (required).
Strong client service and relationship management skills.
Experience with agency management systems ( Applied EPIC, TAM, or AMS 360 preferred ).
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with small to mid-market commercial clients.
Strong knowledge of P&C insurance products and coverage structures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and client presentations.
