Account Manager (m/f/d) for Geomatics

Account Manager of Geomatics , you are responsible for direct sales to end customers, with full ownership of the sales cycle — from first contact to long-term account development. You work closely with customers to understand their technical and operational challenges and position the right combination of hardware, software, and services to deliver real value. Core Job Duties Selling directly to end customers with full sales-cycle ownership Prospecting, qualifying, demonstrating, negotiating, and closing opportunities Managing and developing a defined territory in Baden-Württemberg or Bavaria Positioning solutions such as: Robotic Total Stations GNSS systems Capture Reality & reality-modeling solutions Delivering initial customer training and onboarding to ensure successful adoption Visiting construction sites and active projects for training, prospecting, and consultative sales discussions Growing and retaining direct customer relationships over the long term Building and maintaining a healthy, predictable direct sales pipeline Managing opportunities, forecasts, and customer data in CRM Collaborating with internal teams while operating with a high level of independence This role is designed for someone who enjoys field sales, customer interaction, and solution-oriented selling. YOUR PROFILE Education & Experience Junior to mid-level sales experience (field sales preferred) German at C2 level or native, with conversational English Experience in geomatics, AEC technology, or construction markets is a strong advantage Ability to travel within the assigned region (Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria) This role involves a substantial degree of travelling- at least 60% Knowledge and skills Consultative sales experience in technical, construction, surveying, or BIM-related environments The ability to sell value, workflows, and outcomes, not just products or price A proactive, structured, and customer-focused working style Comfort taking responsibility and ownership of results This position offers a strong foundation for long-term growth within Topcon.
