Job Details
Responsible for venipuncture via vacutainer method.
Travel to customer locations for appointments.
Paid hourly per event.
Bi-weekly pay.
Travel expenses partially covered depending on location.
Responsibilities
Travel to specified locations to obtain samples as required.
Disinfect extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
Accurately label all samples.
Maintain accurate patient records, detailing any medical issues experienced during venipuncture procedures that may affect test results.
Requirements
Proven experience as a phlebotomist.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI law.
Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
Professional, responsible, self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
Reliable transportation.
Computer proficient and have internet access, printer/scanner. Must print, scan, and upload completed documents.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
