Position Overview Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a
Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
for a Long Term Care assignment in
Potosi, MO .
This role involves working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care focused on improving mobility, strength, and overall function.
Key Responsibilities
Implement treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, ambulation, and mobility training
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT
Utilize modalities and assistive devices as part of care plans
Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques
Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records
Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration
Requirements
Active Missouri PTA License
Minimum 1 year of PTA experience
LTC or Rehab experience REQUIRED
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Assignment Details
Monday–Friday schedule (8-hour shifts)
Flexible start times (must be consistent with DOR)
No call
No weekends (unless making up time for holiday schedule)
LTC patient population
