The Role
This isn’t a 9-to-5 C‑Suite job, and it certainly isn't a passive advisory board seat where you nod at strategy decks once a quarter.
This is an active, high‑stakes, boots‑on‑the‑ground advisory role. We have the technology, and we have a hungry team of Fellows aggressively hunting for pre‑market traction. Now, we need the executive firepower to help us navigate enterprise waters.
Your mandate is to provide the "weight" to our team's "hustle." You will directly advise and support our MI Mobility, PIN, and ZLI Fellows in executing pilots, scaling manufacturing, and closing complex enterprise deals. We are not looking for consultants. We want pilots. Results. And customers.
Core Deliverables & SOW Focus Areas
Pilot Execution & Enterprise Deal Structuring:
Support our Technical Account Executive and Fellows in closing complex, multi‑stakeholder pilot programs within the CRE and MUSH sectors. You will help architect the deals that turn advanced thermal materials into deployed, revenue‑generating assets.
Creative Project Financing:
Unlock both traditional and non‑traditional financing mechanisms to fund early‑stage commercial pilots. You will guide the team through structuring deals involving utilities, ESCOs, green banks, and state/federal grant deployments.
Navigating NWA & EV Policy:
Leverage your deep understanding of state and local regulatory landscapes to position ThermoVerse’s technology as a critical
Non‑Wire Alternative (NWA)
for EV charging enablement. You will help us cut through the red tape of grid modernization.
Contract Manufacturing & Supply Chain Scaling:
Advise the technical and operational teams on the transition from prototype/small‑batch builds to scalable contract manufacturing. You will help us foresee supply chain bottlenecks before they happen.
Fellowship Mentorship:
Act as the strategic heavyweight in the room for our MI Mobility, PIN, and ZLI Fellows, turning their academic excellence and raw hustle into hardened, enterprise‑ready commercial execution.
Who You Are
The Heavy-Hitter:
You bring decades of C‑Suite, VP, or high‑level Founder experience in the mobility, energy, utility, or commercial real estate sectors.
Deep Network:
You possess an extensive network within the Michigan mobility enterprise ecosystem, building‑integrated EV charging sectors, and utility operators.
Builder Mentality:
You aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves. You want to bank your legacy on a fast‑moving, high‑impact startup that is building the grid of tomorrow.
