We are seeking an experienced

Credentialing Coordinator

to support provider credentialing and enrollment efforts within a healthcare environment. This is an immediate contract opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business need.

Key Responsibilities

Process initial credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging applications for medical providers, including physicians, physician assistants, clinics, and DME providers

Coordinate credentialing submissions with hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, managed care organizations, and malpractice insurance carriers

Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider documentation, including medical licenses, DEA registrations, and privilege documentation

Track license expirations and ensure timely renewals to maintain compliance

Serve as a point of contact for providers, hospitals, payers, and regulatory agencies regarding credentialing status

Ensure all credentialing activities meet organizational, state, and national regulatory requirements

Qualifications

2-5 years of credentialing experience within a hospital or healthcare system

Strong working knowledge of provider credentialing processes and regulatory requirements

Experience credentialing with hospitals, managed care plans, insurance agencies, and state/national licensing bodies (DEA, National Boards, State Licensure Agencies)

Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience is a strong plus

Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills

Professional communication skills; comfortable working directly with physicians and medical providers
