Student Processing Specialist

Position Summary:
The College of Community Engagement and Professions (CCEP) Student Advising & Support Services (SASS) seeks a Student Processing Specialist to provide administrative support for prospective and current dual enrollment, undergraduate, graduate, certificate, second degree and post‑baccalaureate students. The role works closely with Academic Advisors (30%) and the Student Well‑Being Manager (60%) to deliver wrap‑around student services aligned with CCEP enrollment, retention, and graduation goals.
Key Job Responsibilities
Apply knowledge of programs, procedures, and policies to offer administrative support and assistance in student services, escalating complex decisions when necessary.
Track prospective and/or current student status with regard to academic progress or related areas.
Provide guidance to students and prospective students on various processes including application, registration, financial status, academic and recreational programs, and graduation and licensure requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
At least one year of professional or internship/practicum experience providing excellent customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience assisting students with registration processes in a college/university setting.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience building relationships with diverse populations.
