
Sales Coordinator

Position Summary
The Sales Support Coordinator is a sales-driven role focused primarily on inside sales and revenue support activities, including lead qualification, order entry and management, and customer follow-up. This position works closely with the sales team to support pipeline development, pricing accuracy, and customer relationships. In addition to inside sales responsibilities, the role coordinates and supports company trade shows, conventions, and events to generate leads, strengthen customer engagement, and support overall sales objectives.
Inside Sales + Revenue Support
Serve as an internal sales resource supporting assigned accounts or territories
Respond to inbound sales inquiries and qualify leads before routing or advancing opportunities to territory reps
Prepare and maintain price lists and sales documentation
Enter, process, and manage customer orders, including revisions, returns, and credits
Conduct outbound follow up with prospects and customers to support sales campaigns, promotions, and renewals
Assist with upselling and crossselling efforts based on customer needs and product knowledge
Track sales opportunities and activities in CRM to support pipeline visibility and forecasting
Support post event and post campaign sales follow up to convert leads into opportunities
Event + Trade Show Coordination
Plan, coordinate, and execute trade shows, conventions, and conferences
Manage event timelines, budgets, logistics, booth materials, shipping, and vendor coordination
Coordinate event registrations and schedules for attending staff
Maintain event calendars and ensure deadlines are met
Support pre and post event activities, including lead capture, lead distribution, and followup tracking
Sales Operations, Pricing + Materials
Maintain accurate and up to date price sheets, discount structures, and sales tools
Ensure pricing accuracy across CRM, ERP, and quoting systems
Manage, organize, categorize, and distribute sales and marketing materials
Maintain version control and ensure sales teams use current, approved materials
Support sales reporting, pipeline tracking, and performance metrics
Coordinate pricing or product updates with sales leadership, marketing, and finance
Customer Support + Help Desk
Manage incoming help desk tickets and customer inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing systems
Resolve routine issues and elevate complex cases as needed
Ensure timely follow up and resolution to maintain customer satisfaction
General + Administrative
Identify opportunities to improve inside sales processes and customer experience
Support crossfunctional projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2 to 4 years of experience in inside sales, sales support, event coordination, or customer service
Strong sales aptitude with a customerfocused mindset
Excellent organizational, communication, and followup skills
Proficiency with CRM, ERP, quoting, and order management systems
High attention to detail, especially related to pricing and order accuracy
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting B2B inside sales or account management teams
Familiarity with lead qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT, MEDDICClite)
Experience with trade shows and eventdriven lead generation
Comfort making outbound sales and followup calls
Working Conditions
Occasional travel and weekend work for trade shows and events
Officebased or hybrid role, depending on company needs
