Account Manager
We are seeking an Account Manager to support our Single-Family division. This role is responsible for managing existing customer relationships while actively developing new business. The Account Manager works closely with builders, homeowners, and internal teams to estimate projects, coordinate timelines, and ensure a smooth transition from sales to construction. Because this role supports active construction projects, candidates should have a strong understanding of residential construction and the ability to read blueprints and site plans. Key Responsibilities Client & Account Management Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with builders, contractors, and homeowners Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts Respond to customer questions and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction Sales & Business Development Prospect and develop new customer relationships Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts Prepare and present project estimates Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts Project & Construction Coordination Review and interpret blueprints, site plans, and construction documents Evaluate foundation design requirements, soil conditions, and site constraints Coordinate project timelines with customers and internal teams Partner with operations, field supervisors, and schedulers for smooth handoff to production Attend site walks as needed Planning, Reporting & Analysis Develop account plans and sales forecasts Track account performance and identify growth opportunities Prepare reports related to revenue, forecasting, and account activity Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments Qualifications Construction background preferred (residential experience strongly desired) Experience in sales, account management, or a related role Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications Knowledge of concrete foundations and residential construction processes Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Customer-focused with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams Work Environment & Travel Full-time, salaried position Moderate in-state travel required Equal Opportunity Employer Custom Concrete Co., Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
