Executive Recruiter (Remote) in St. Louis, MO
to join our team. This individual will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, successfully recruiting on open roles, building strong client relationships, visiting clients in person and promoting our staffing and recruitment services to organizations across various industries.

Base compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 annual with lofty commission structure
Business Development & Client Management
Develop and grow new client relationships through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, and market intelligence
Serve as a consultative partner to hiring managers and executives, advising on talent strategy, market conditions, and hiring best practices
Manage and expand existing accounts by identifying new opportunities and delivering consistent value
Conduct discovery conversations to understand client needs, organizational culture, and hiring priorities
Negotiate terms, pricing, and service models (direct hire, contract, contract‑to‑hire)
Maintain accurate documentation of client activity, pipeline, and forecasts in the CRM/ATS
Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process from intake through offer acceptance
Source, screen, and assess candidates using multiple channels (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking)
Conduct in‑depth candidate interviews to evaluate skills, experience, cultural fit, and career goals
Prepare and present qualified candidate shortlists to clients with clear, value‑driven summaries
Coordinate interviews, manage feedback, and guide candidates and clients through the decision process
Support offer negotiation, acceptance, and onboarding to ensure successful placements
Market Expertise & Relationship Building
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive market data
Build and maintain a strong network of candidates and referral sources
Act as a brand ambassador for the firm in the local and regional market
Provide clear, timely communication to candidates and clients throughout the recruitment lifecycle
Qualifications:
Degree or 3+ years' experience in the staffing industry
3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the staffing, recruitment, or HR services industry.
3+ years of recruitment experience
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of staffing services and workforce solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
What We Offer:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $50K-70K.
Compensation varies based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, key skills, and geographic location.
In addition to base salary, the position is also eligible for incentive compensation based on achievements outlined in the compensation plan.
