Marketing & Business Development Coordinator / Specialist Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC | Birmingham, AL Lightfoot, Franklin & White is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator / Specialist to join our Birmingham office. This role supports a wide range of marketing, business development, recruiting, and event initiatives that help strengthen client relationships and support firm growth. We are open to hiring at either the Coordinator or Specialist level depending on the experience and strength of the selected candidate. This position works closely with the Director of Marketing & Business Development, as well as attorneys, firm leadership, Recruiting, and HR, and offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful client-facing and internal initiatives in a fast-paced law firm environment. Responsibilities include: Assisting with pitch materials, proposals, presentations, and RFP responses Supporting firmwide marketing and business development initiatives Coordinating client events, firm-hosted programs, sponsorships, and recruiting-related events Supporting internal and external communications, website updates, digital content, and social media Assisting with awards submissions, rankings, and directory updates Helping manage timelines, workflows, marketing calendars, and CRM-related support Providing project and operational support to the Marketing & Business Development function Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, communications, business, or a related field Relevant experience in marketing, communications, events, recruiting, business development, or professional services support Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to work effectively with attorneys, leadership, and internal stakeholders in a professional services setting Experience with Canva, CRM platforms, event tools, website content management, or analytics tools is a plus. This role may be filled at either the Coordinator or Specialist level based on experience, judgment, and ability to operate independently. Candidates at the Specialist level should be prepared to take on greater ownership and contribute with a higher degree of independence from the outset.
