Senior Corporate Account Manager - Utility

Location: Remote (Chicago based)

Travel: Up to 50%


We are seeking a Senior Corporate Account Manager - Utility Systems & Solutions to drive strategic growth across power utility accounts in Illinois. This role focuses on expanding relationships within Investor-Owned Utilities (IOUs), Independent Power Producers (IPPs), EPC firms, and public power entities.


Responsibilities:

  • Own revenue performance across strategic power utility accounts in Illinois
  • Sell medium- and low-voltage electrical infrastructure and engineered packaged solutions
  • Articulate technical value propositions to engineering, planning, and operations stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional sales processes with engineering, finance, legal, and operations teams
  • Drive executive-level customer engagement and strategic account development
  • Maintain strong pipeline discipline and contribute to monthly business reviews
  • Support annual planning and long-term account strategy


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in the utility, energy, or infrastructure sectors
  • Ability to travel up to 50%


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related STEM field
  • Experience selling engineered-to-order or complex utility hardware/software solutions
  • Demonstrated success managing $20M+ annual sales targets or equivalent high-value portfolios
  • Proven experience selling into IOU, IPP, EPC, or public power organizations
