Pampered Chef is seeking an Associate Manager, Email & Lifecycle Marketing to help execute, optimize, and scale our email and SMS lifecycle programs across both consumer (B2C) and consultant (B2B) audiences.


This role is ideal for a hands-on lifecycle marketer and problem solver who is comfortable troubleshooting issues, translating business use cases into execution, and working within event-driven platforms like Bloomreach Engagement. You’ll play a critical role in turning data, triggers, and insights into reliable, high-performing lifecycle programs.


What You’ll Do


Drive Revenue Through Email & SMS Lifecycle Programs

  • Build, deploy, and optimize email and SMS campaigns and automated lifecycle journeys with a clear focus on revenue contribution.
  • Translate lifecycle strategies and business goals into revenue-generating programs executed in Bloomreach Engagement.
  • Own execution for revenue-driving initiatives across key lifecycle moments, including:
  1. Onboarding and welcome journeys
  2. Engagement, reactivation, and lapsed-user journeys
  3. Monthly promotional and seasonal campaigns
  4. Post-purchase and cross-sell journey
  5. Abandoned cart and browse journey

Personalization, Testing & Optimization

  • Implement dynamic content and personalization using Bloomreach tools and Jinja logic to increase engagement and conversion.
  • Execute A/B tests across subject lines, content, timing, and messaging.
  • Analyze performance, document learnings, and recommend optimizations that improve revenue and lifecycle efficiency

Troubleshooting, Deliverability & Data Quality

  • Act as a first-line troubleshooter for campaign, automation, and data issues that impact revenue or deliverability.
  • Monitor list health, engagement, and inbox placement using tools such as Validity / Everest.
  • Apply best practices for suppression, frequency management, and engagement-based targeting to protect revenue and sender reputation.
  • Partner with internal teams to diagnose and resolve deliverability, data, or rendering issues.

API & Technical Collaboration

  • Work comfortably with API-driven data flows that enable real-time lifecycle triggers and revenue attribution.
  • Review event payloads (JSON), validate trigger logic, and partner with Engineering or MarTech teams to resolve ingestion or data quality issues.
  • Understand how events, profiles, and attributes flow into Bloomreach and influence segmentation, automation, and revenue outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Analytics, Creative, Technology, and Field teams.
  • Participate in planning sessions, campaign reviews, and performance discussions.
  • Communicate clearly about revenue performance, risks, and optimization opportunities.
Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience driving revenue through email and/or SMS marketing.
  • Direct experience with Bloomreach Engagement preferred.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot lifecycle, data, and campaign issues that affect performance.

Strong experience with:

  • Audience segmentation (profile + event-based)
  • Campaign setup, QA, and deployment
  • Lifecycle and triggered email programs
  • Comfort working with APIs and event-based data, including basic understanding of: JSON payloads, Event schemas and basic data concepts and Jinja or dynamic content logic
  • Webhooks or event ingestion concepts
  • Familiarity with deliverability and QA tools (Validity/Everest, Litmus, or similar).
  • Experience executing A/B tests and tying results back to revenue impact.
  • Solid understanding of email and SMS best practices, compliance, and data hygiene.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Ability to work on-site or hybrid
Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position starts at $85,000-105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for a performance-based bonus based on individual and company performance.

Pampered Chef currently follows a hybrid schedule at the headquartered office in Addison, IL. The expectation is for employees to be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week.
