HR Director
Turlock, CA (Onsite – with flexibility over time) $135,000 - $160,000 base + strong benefits package
We’re partnering with a well-established, fast-growing company in Turlock to appoint a
HR Director
to lead and scale the people function during an exciting period of operational growth. This is a
high-impact leadership role
reporting directly to the CEO, with full ownership of HR, compliance, safety, and workforce development across a multi-site operation.

The Role You’ll take ownership of the full HR function, leading a small, capable team and partnering closely with operations to support a large, hourly workforce in a fast-paced environment. This is a
hands-on leadership role,
you’ll be visible in the business, especially early on, gaining a deep understanding of operations, culture, and workforce dynamics.
Key Responsibilities Lead HR strategy, policies, and day-to-day operations Manage and develop a small HR, training, payroll, and safety team Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements Oversee employee relations, risk management, and investigations Drive safety initiatives and workforce training programs Partner with leadership on workforce planning and growth Oversee payroll and HR systems/processes Support hiring and workforce development in competitive labor markets
What they're looking for Strong experience in HR leadership, compliance, and workforce management Background in operational or high-volume environments is helpful Experience overseeing safety and risk programs Individual who has displayed long tenure and loyalty Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally A hands-on, pragmatic approach with strong communication skills HR Degree/Qualification (preferred)
