
High Net Worth Commercial Credit Solutions Specialist

Job Description
What is the opportunity?
As a member of the High Net Worth/Tailored Lending team for the New York Credit Branch within US Wealth Management, you will be responsible for the facilitation of performing life of loan portfolio servicing for complex lending facilities and borrowing structures and new loan closings.
What will you do? Portfolio Management - 70%
Manage the collection, testing and reporting of financial and non-financial loan covenants
Review loan documentation to track credit terms and covenants
Perform or approve funding on existing portfolio
Prepare loan portfolio management reports and present occasional results to internal partners
Monitor credit limits and collateral positions with adherence to approved credit terms and conditions
Loan Servicing - 20%
Facilitate loan renewals, refinances, amendments and loan payoffs
Review and manage documentation of existing loans
Ensure accuracy of data inputs recorded in loan related systems, including relevant credit terms and conditions
Loan Closing - 10%
Perform pre-closing loan due diligence and ensure any pre-closing requirements are satisfied
Work closely with Lending team and Counsel to ensure loan documentation is accurate and reflects approved loan terms
Coordinate loan closing and funding with Lending Team, Counsel and Loan Operations
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related discipline such as Finance, Accounting or Business
5 or more years of lending/credit experience, preferably in documentation, underwriting or loan portfolio management
Knowledge of credit requirements and regulatory compliance for commercial and securities-based lending
Ability to meet all work deadlines
Exhibits a high level of internal and external client service
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel
Ability to learn and adapt to in-house credit and other workflow systems
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management
Nice-to-have
Experience working with complex commercial loans and borrowing structures
Experience in loan portfolio management to include analyzing financials and calculating financial performance ratios
Experience working with High Net Worth / Private Banking clients
Demonstrated collaboration skills, working in partnerships to create effective outcomes
Well organized, detail oriented, and extremely accurate
Results Oriented by executing goals within timelines and acceptable risk levels
