Construction Superintendent
S&P Interiors LLC., Washington, District of Columbia, United States
S&P Interiors LLC is a commercial interior contractor serving the healthcare, office interiors, restaurant & retail, multifamily sectors. We are known for clear communication, reliable execution, and a hands‑on collaborative approach with our clients, architects, and trade partners. Quality and precision aren't talking points for us. They're how we do business.
Role Description We are hiring a Construction Superintendent to own day-to-day site operations, direct subcontractors, maintain schedule integrity, and uphold the quality and safety standards that define our reputation.
Your judgment will drive daily decisions: sequencing trades efficiently, identifying risks during regular site walks, resolving conflicts before they cascade into delays, and holding every crew on‑site to the same uncompromising standard of workmanship.
We are not looking for someone who simply monitors progress. We need someone who drives it. A superintendent who understands that a well‑managed jobsite is the foundation of every successful project, and who takes personal ownership of delivering on that commitment to our clients.
Qualifications Technical
Bring at least 5 years of superintendent experience on commercial projects.
Solid working knowledge of construction methods, building codes, industry standards, and the equipment used to get the job done.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Comfortable working in Procore, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Physical
This is a jobsite role, not a desk job. You'll be on your feet most of the day.
Able to walk the project multiple times daily and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable climbing ladders and scaffolding as needed.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Available for evening and weekend work depending on project demands.
S&P Interiors LLC is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
