Fast-paced digital agency, Reusser, is seeking a confident, well-rounded and highly organized Digital Strategist to join our growing digital team.
The ideal candidate is a thoughtful, driven strategist who can see both the big picture and the details that make marketing successful. This person is comfortable developing strategy, translating ideas into execution, and continuously optimizing campaigns based on performance data.
The Digital Strategist will work closely with our marketing, design, and development teams to guide digital marketing initiatives across a variety of B2B and B2C clients. They will help clients understand where they are today, where they want to go, and the practical steps required to get there.
This role requires someone who is both strategic and hands‑on – a generalist who understands multiple digital channels and can plan, build, launch, and grow cohesive strategies that connect them. The right candidate enjoys solving complex marketing challenges, experimenting with new tools and platforms, and continuously improving results through data and iteration.

Responsibilities include: The Digital Strategist works closely with clients and internal teams to understand business goals, audiences, and competitive landscapes. From there, they plan, build, launch, and grow digital strategies that align marketing channels, messaging, and performance metrics.
This includes:
Annual marketing plans and campaign roadmaps
Multi‐channel digital strategies across paid, organic, and owned channels
Lead generation and demand generation strategies
Audience development and targeting strategies
Performance benchmarks and KPIs for marketing success
The Digital Strategist oversees the planning and execution of campaigns across a variety of digital channels. They collaborate with internal specialists and guide campaign direction to ensure efforts remain aligned with the broader strategy.
Channels may include:
Organic social media
SEO and content marketing
Website conversion optimization
Marketing automation and CRM initiatives
They are responsible for ensuring campaigns are well‑structured, continuously improving, and tied to measurable business outcomes.
Performance Analysis & Optimization The Digital Strategist is responsible for monitoring campaign performance and translating data into actionable insights. They regularly analyze campaign results and recommend optimizations to improve efficiency and outcomes.
This includes:
Reviewing performance data across channels
Identifying trends, opportunities, and risks
Adjusting strategies based on campaign performance
Communicating insights and results clearly to clients and internal teams
A strong understanding of analytics platforms such as GA4 and other Google Marketing products and digital reporting tools is essential.
Content plays a key role in effective digital marketing. The Digital Strategist will contribute directly to content creation and content strategy efforts across channels.
This includes:
Writing and editing marketing content such as blogs, emails, and campaign messaging
Contributing to website content strategy and landing pages
Supporting social media and campaign content development
Collaborating with designers and developers to bring content to life

Modern digital marketing increasingly relies on intelligent tools and automation. The Digital Strategist should be comfortable leveraging AI‑powered tools and automation platforms to increase marketing performance and improve efficiency.

Leveraging marketing automation platforms to streamline campaigns
Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive marketing tasks
Applying emerging technologies that improve campaign performance or delivery speed

The Digital Strategist works closely with designers, developers, content creators, and marketing specialists to bring strategies to life. This role is on the marketing team and will report directly to the Director of Marketing.
They help ensure that the work produced by each team contributes to the overall strategy and delivers value to the client.
This role requires clear communication, collaboration, and the ability to guide projects from strategy through execution.
Client Communication The Digital Strategist will participate in client meetings and help communicate strategies, campaign results, and recommendations.
They should be comfortable presenting ideas, explaining complex topics in simple terms, and building trust with clients.
About You
5+ years of experience in digital marketing, digital strategy, or performance marketing
Strong understanding of multiple digital marketing channels including paid media, email marketing, SEO, and social media
Experience building multi‑channel marketing strategies and campaign plans
Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into strategic recommendations
Experience writing or contributing to marketing content such as blogs, emails, and campaign messaging
Working knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4) and reporting dashboards
Comfortable working across a variety of marketing tools and platforms
Able to balance strategy and execution — thinking big while still getting things done
Strong communicator who can present ideas clearly to both clients and internal teams
Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys solving complex problems
