About the Role

The Company is in search of a Hospice Executive Director to take on a pivotal market-facing leadership role. The successful candidate will be tasked with the full responsibility of the hospice program's performance, encompassing day-to-day operations, clinical oversight, business development, census growth, financial performance, compliance, team leadership, and community relationships. This role demands a leader who can effectively balance operational discipline, clinical credibility, and a growth mindset. Key responsibilities include providing overall leadership, driving financial performance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and partnering with clinical and business development teams to enhance referral relationships and market presence.

Applicants for the Hospice Executive Director position at the company must have a recent background in hospice leadership, with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in hospice program leadership or operations management. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hospice operations, growth strategy, and clinical operations, as well as experience in budget development, financial oversight, and profit/loss management. A working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, hospice compliance, and regulatory standards is essential. The role requires a proven ability to build relationships with various healthcare entities and strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
