About the Role
The Company is in search of a Hospice Executive Director to lead its Cleveland program. The successful candidate will be a proven hospice operator with a strong track record in center-target hospice leadership. Key responsibilities for this role include full P&L and budget ownership, leading day-to-day hospice operations, driving quality outcomes, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state hospice regulations. The Executive Director will also be responsible for partnering with local referral sources and community stakeholders to support census growth and will have direct accountability for the overall branch performance, including operations, quality, compliance, staffing, budgets, growth, and culture.
Applicants must have a background in hospice, be local to Cleveland with deep market knowledge and established contacts, and have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in hospice operations management. The role requires a candidate with proven budget responsibility, a broad knowledge of federal and state regulations, and strong leadership, operational discipline, strategy, and people management skills. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, highly organized, and adept at time management, multitasking, and decision-making. The position demands a leader who can ensure strong execution across admissions, patient care operations, and KPI performance, and who is dedicated to the mission of providing high-quality hospice care.
