Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will work with stainless steel, galvanized, and stainless steel ducts. You must have at least five years of experience on a commercial construction site, with skills in hanging ductwork, fabricating duct, and installing VAV boxes. You should be comfortable with retrofit projects, AC installations, piping, and controls, and capable of interpreting blueprints and completing layouts as needed.

Job Description As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will work with stainless steel, galvanized, and stainless steel ducts. You must have at least five years of experience on a commercial construction site, with skills in hanging ductwork, fabricating duct, and installing VAV boxes. You should be comfortable with retrofit projects, AC installations, piping, and controls, and capable of interpreting blueprints and completing layouts as needed.

Responsibilities

Utilize stainless steel and galvanized materials for ductwork.

Hang ductwork and fabricate duct systems.

Install VAV boxes and manage associated tasks.

Perform retrofit projects and AC installations.

Handle piping and control systems effectively.

Interpret blueprints and complete layout designs.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 5 years of experience with commercial sheet metal.

Proficiency in sheet metal, HVAC, blueprint interpretation, and ductwork.

Experience in construction and ductwork installation.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
