Leasing and Sales Specialist
We are seeking a dynamic Leasing and Sales Specialist to join our team. This role involves engaging with prospective tenants, showcasing our properties, and ensuring exceptional customer service while handling administrative tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist prospective tenants, providing detailed information about available units and community amenities.
Conduct property tours and highlight features that meet client needs.
Prepare and execute lease agreements in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
Address tenant concerns and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely resolutions.
Process applications, verify references, and conduct credit/background checks.
Maintain accurate records of leases, renewals, and occupancy reports.

Proficiency in computer skills
Real estate knowledge
Experience in answering phones

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in leasing or property management with at least 1 year of experience
Experience with Entrata property software is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work weekends or evenings as needed
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Work Environment The work schedule includes Monday (9-5), Wednesday to Friday (9-6), and Saturday (10-5), with Sunday and Tuesday off. You will be part of a team of about 10 on-site members. The position includes a 1-hour lunch break. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits after 60 days of employment. Commission is offered after a 4-month contract period, ranging from 80 to 150 per unit.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bellport, NY.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
