mid‑level Associate (3–5 years)
to join its
Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice
in
Chicago .
This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney who wants to work on
complex benefits and compensation matters in the M&A context , advising sophisticated clients on high‑value transactions.
What they’re looking for:
3–5 years of law firm experience
Strong background in employee benefits and executive compensation
Experience supporting M&A transactions
Proven ability drafting executive employment agreements, deferred compensation, and equity plans
Excellent academic credentials
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
The role:
Advise clients on employee benefits and executive compensation in M&A transactions
Draft & implement employment agreements, deferred compensation, & equity incentive plans
Conduct due diligence and regulatory analysis
Collaborate across practice groups to deliver comprehensive transactional support
Work closely with clients on strategic, high‑impact matters
What’s offered:
Salary range: $200K – $400K + performance‑based bonuses
