Sr. Producer (Live Production)

GPJ is hiring a Sr. Producer, Live Production to join our growing team.

This role is hybrid, requiring you to report on-site to one of the following office locations a minimum of 2 days/week: Los Angeles, or San Francisco.

Your Role In this role, you will serve as an integral member of the Live Production team; responsible for production and management of General Sessions, Product Launches, Dealer Meetings, Press Events, Special Events and Consumer Events. You will interface directly with clients, partners, suppliers and internal teams. You will act as a Senior Producer of a General Session, Breakout Sessions, electronic media or other ancillary events within the overall event and part of a large production team.

You will provide regular updates to the project lead and take a proactive approach to raising any issues or concerns, working collaboratively to find solutions. Identifying project risks and developing mitigation plans is part of your role.

You also offer input on staffing and resourcing, collaborating closely with project leadership. Managing key vendor relationships is another important aspect of your responsibilities, involving effective communication, oversight of vendor RFP processes when necessary, and addressing any issues that may arise.

You will ensure the closing and reconciliation process is completed thoroughly for the overall event. You are well-versed in all GPJ workflow processes, ensuring their proper management and implementation.

Effectively organize, motivate and lead other Producers

Strong skills in creating and managing program budgets.

Knowledgeable theatrical and technical staging (lighting, audio, video and scenic).

Knowledgeable in the use of social media integration in live events.

Knowledgeable in rich media-producing videos, presentation graphics, digital media and printed graphics.

Solid reputation as Senior Producer with past clients, employers, suppliers and staff/crews.

Powerful resource database of leading creative, production and technical partners.

Salary Range: $120-130k Salary is dependent on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) experience, skills, and location.
