Enterprise IT Provisioning / Onboarding Specialist
Location:
Onsite 4 days/week (Monday - Thursday Onsite, WFH Fridays)– Atlanta, GA 30339 Environment:
Fast‑paced enterprise supporting 6,000+ endpoints (PC + Cloud PC) Role Overview
This is a
dedicated onboarding and identity provisioning role , not general IT support. The Enterprise IT Provisioning / Onboarding Specialist owns
Day‑1 readiness
for new hires and contractors at scale. This role is responsible for ensuring every user arrives
fully provisioned, properly licensed, securely configured, and productive on their first day
across identity, access, and devices. You will manage
joiner and leaver workflows end‑to‑end , partner closely with HR and downstream IT teams, and act as the escalation point for onboarding and identity workflow failures. Success in this role is measured by
accuracy, speed, automation, and Day‑1 success , not ticket volume. Candidates with experience in
identity provisioning, joiner/leaver workflows, Intune/Autopilot onboarding, or Windows 365 Cloud PC provisioning
will be especially successful in this role. What You’ll Be Doing
Own
high‑volume onboarding provisioning
for permanent and contract employees Execute
identity setup and access provisioning
using Entra ID (users, groups, roles, licenses) Prepare and deliver
Day‑1 ready devices
using Intune and Autopilot (PC + Cloud PC) Ensure correct
Microsoft 365 licensing, mailbox access, and application access
before start date Troubleshoot and resolve
onboarding blockers
(identity, access, device, licensing issues) Serve as the escalation point for
Day‑1 provisioning failures Partner with HR and IT teams to ensure accurate data, timing, and handoffs Own
offboarding and deprovisioning , including access removal, license cleanup, and hardware recovery Contribute to
automation, documentation, and repeatable onboarding workflows Required Experience & Skills
Hands‑on experience in
enterprise onboarding / provisioning environments (500+ users minimum) Strong experience with
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD):
User provisioning, Group‑based access, Conditional Access, RBAC / PIM Experience with
Microsoft Intune & Autopilot
for large‑scale device provisioning Microsoft 365 licensing and access management
experience Experience supporting
PC and Cloud PC onboarding workflows Familiarity with
ITSM orchestration tools
(TeamDynamix, ServiceNow, or similar) Strong incident and escalation management skills in fast‑paced environments Ability to communicate clearly and calmly during
Day‑1 onboarding escalations Experience owning the
full offboarding lifecycle
(identity, licenses, devices)
