Business Development Representative The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and persistent individual who is excited by the challenge of building new business relationships and opening doors with prospective clients. This person should be comfortable with high daily outreach, confident in starting conversations, and capable of turning cold and warm leads into real business opportunities. You will be responsible for developing new client relationships, reactivating past clients, helping close deals, and managing or handing off accounts as needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct high-volume outbound business development activity, including reaching out to

100 prospects per day

through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels

Build relationships with key decision-makers and hiring managers across target accounts

Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities

Re-engage dormant and past client accounts to uncover new hiring needs

Set meetings, open opportunities, and help move prospects through the sales process

Work closely with internal leadership and recruiting teams to align client needs with delivery capabilities

Help close new business and support the onboarding of new client relationships

Manage client relationships directly or transition them internally once established

Keep accurate notes and activity records within the company CRM/ATS

Stay informed on market trends, hiring activity, and competitive intelligence within the IT and ERP recruiting space

Qualifications

1 to 2+ years of experience

in business development, sales, recruiting, account management, or a related client-facing role

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent professional experience is welcome

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable with high daily activity and proactive outreach

Confident speaking with decision-makers and building relationships from scratch

Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage follow-up effectively

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay consistent through rejection

Experience in staffing, recruiting, IT services, or B2B sales is a plus
