The Wood Veneer Hub (WVH) designs and supplies a wide range of decorative surfacing products to clients and specifiers across North America. Our clients include architects, designers, distributors, contractors and retailers – operating across commercial, residential and hospitality projects.
We are seeking a driven and highly organized
Specification Sales & Business Development Manager
to lead WVH’s engagement within the architecture and design (A&D) community across Arizona. This role combines territory management, specification development, and strategic business development support across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive specifications of WVH products within the A&D community across Arizona
Develop and manage a pipeline of specification opportunities across commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors
Lead presentations, lunch-and-learns, and product demonstrations
Manage CRM pipeline and support project tracking for the North American sales team
Coordinate samples, marketing materials, and reporting to support ongoing sales initiatives
Participate in key trade shows and industry events across North America
Support broader business development initiatives to expand specification and distribution channels
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
5+ years’ experience in sales, specification, or business development within the design or building materials industry
Strong communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Experience working with architects and designers (A&D community)
Knowledge of building materials, finishes, and/or interior products
Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Willingness to travel within Arizona and occasional air travel throughout North America
Mileage reimbursement for business-related travel per IRS rates
