Summer Intern Program
The Summer Intern program provides college students with the opportunity to participate in meaningful projects that contribute to the overall business unit objectives. In addition to the assigned projects, Interns are given the opportunity to participate in activities that encourage networking with peers, managers, and employees.
The sales intern will focus on customer development and customer engagement to understand cross-selling opportunities as well as drive awareness in low-decile markets.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- High-Volume Outreach & Customer Engagement
- Identify potential sales opportunities through structured discovery questions.
- Communicate product features, value propositions, and benefits clearly over the phone.
- Collaborate with sales team to share insights and hand off qualified leads.
- Time Management & Organizational Skills
- Prioritize daily calling activity to maximize productivity and impact.
- Ability to balance call targets, follow-up tasks, and administrative work.
- Manage daily workflow to meet deadlines and sales performance metrics.
- Provide feedback on customer trends, objections, and market opportunities.
- Participate in team meetings, training and coaching sessions.

- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams).
- Familiarity with or openness to using AI-based productivity tools, along with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Interest in sales, business, marketing, or customer engagement, with a desire to develop foundational skills in a professional setting.
- Prior experience in customer-facing rolessuch as face-to-face sales, retail, restaurant, hospitality, or general customer serviceis preferred but not required.
Work Environment:
- Professional office setting
- Ability to work on-site 5 days a week at the Livingston office.
- This is a paid internship.
Experience:
Not required; prior Internship experience is a plus.
Education:
- Current college student, majoring in Business or Science, entering their Junior or Senior year
- Minimum GPA requirement, 2.8
