Automotive Technician/Mechanic Responsibilities

Diagnose automotive problems as they arise.

Conduct inspections, repair engine failure, repair mechanical and electrical systems, and replace parts.

Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process.

Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Compensation And Benefits\nFlat-Rate Pay – the pay rate depends on certifications and experience but ranges from $30 - $45/hour for Technicians.

$50 - $75 per hour with an Apprentice.

1-2 years of experience as a Certified Technician.

ASE Certifications.

Valid Driver’s License.
