Associate Advisor, Multifamily Investment Sales
Mid-Markets Group Real Estate Advisors, Salt Lake City, UT, United States
Associate Advisor, Multifamily Investment Sales
About us!
MMG was built by top-producing advisors who believed brokerage could be done better — with transparency, collaboration, and alignment between brokers and clients.
We are hiring a
Multifamily Investment Sales Advisor
to join our Salt Lake City office.
This role is for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want to build a long-term career in multifamily investment sales — not just “try real estate.”
This is not a support role. This is a producer track.
If you are looking for a salaried analyst position with minimal risk, this likely is not the right fit. If you are competitive, disciplined, and willing to earn your seat in a high-performance environment, we should talk.
About the Role You will work directly with experienced multifamily advisors in the Salt Lake City market and gain exposure to live transactions, underwriting, client strategy, and market positioning.
Year one is built around three core disciplines:
1. Prospecting & Relationship Development
You will learn how to identify and engage multifamily owners through disciplined outreach and research. Expect consistent outbound activity.
2. Underwriting & Market Analysis
You will analyze rent rolls, operating statements, sales comps, and development trends to understand value drivers in the Salt Lake City multifamily market.
You will support the preparation of Broker Opinions of Value (BOVs), Offering Memorandums (OMs), and assist in managing transactions from launch through closing.
As you develop, you will begin building your own pipeline and client base.
We provide mentorship and platform support. You bring resilience, urgency, and accountability.
Responsibilities
Prospect multifamily owners through research and outbound outreach
Assist in underwriting and financial analysis of multifamily assets
Support preparation of BOVs, OMs, and marketing materials
Research ownership records, market comps, and development trends
Maintain CRM systems and pipeline tracking
Assist with transaction coordination and buyer communications
Participate in internal pipeline and strategy calls
This is a full-time, in-office role based in Salt Lake City.
Who This Role Is For This opportunity is best suited for individuals who:
Want to build a career in multifamily investment sales
Are comfortable initiating conversations and handling rejection
Have strong analytical ability and financial curiosity
Thrive in a performance-driven environment
Want mentorship but understand compensation is production-based
Recent graduates in finance, business, economics, or real estate are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1–2 years of brokerage, lending, appraisal, or investment experience are also welcome.
Qualifications
Utah Real Estate License (or willingness to obtain quickly)
Strong analytical and communication skills
Comfortable in Excel and financial modeling
Competitive, coachable, and self-motivated
Prior multifamily exposure is a plus but not required.
Compensation
Commission-based structure
Clear path to becoming an independent Multifamily Investment Sales Advisor
Compensation and advancement are performance-driven.
Why MMG
Work alongside active multifamily producers
Access to a national buyer network and cross-market capital platform
Institutional-level marketing and operational support
Defined growth path based on production
Let’s Talk If you are serious about building a career in multifamily brokerage in Salt Lake City— and are willing to do the work required to succeed in a commission-driven environment — we welcome a conversation.
Submit your resume and a brief note explaining why you want to pursue multifamily investment sales.
