Bohemia Manor Farm Resort is a luxury hotel and winery, the premier destination for events and accommodations near the Chesapeake Bay. Bohemia Manor Farm Resort is seeking a Food & Beverage Director to join our team of professionals in a revenue-driven role with the ability to create and manage special events, entertainment, and food and wine festivals. Reporting to the resort manager, our Food & Beverage Director supervises the seamless and profitable operation of all food service facilities and events, in addition to the oversight of our tasting room, restaurant, beach bar, and banquets. This role is vital to the success of the resort as much of our volume includes catering with an emphasis on weddings. A background in luxury F&B management and supervision of catering operations & execution is essential. Our F&B Director manages all personnel in the Food and Beverage Department and is responsible for all financial, operational, and development areas. What We Offer: Competitive Starting Salary PTO Health Insurance 401K Bonus Opportunities Significant Opportunity for Growth and Advancement Job Responsibilities: Promote and portray the VIVMEE Values Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance with health regulations Address and resolve guest complaints related to food, beverages, or service promptly and professionally Work with the management team to improve guest satisfaction Oversee food and beverage inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and controlling food and beverage supplies Conduct regular audits to manage costs effectively and prevent loss Manage the weekly staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage and optimal operational efficiency Assist Catering Manager in planning and execution of events, weddings, social, and corporate events when turned over from Sales Team Plan and execute Internal Events with GM based on Programming Calendar Meet with department heads monthly to plan social media/photo needs Consistently gather and provide property content to the Social Media Manager Other duties as required Successful Candidates Must Have: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or marketing preferred Minimum of 3 years of Food & Beverage management experience in hotels/resorts Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential, sharp negotiation and networking skills, and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Knowledge of Hospitality industry trends and best practices Familiarity with relevant software for event planning and management Proven record of sales growth Experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques Exceptional project management skills Experience in managing sales or marketing teams Sharp negotiation and networking skills VIVAMEE VIRTUES JOY - HUMILITY - MINISTRY
