
Production Coordinator

The Production Coordinator helps manage the SAP functions related to local brand products at the Little Chute, WI Manufacturing Facility, including (but not limited to) planning, processing, and issuing inventory against orders, inventory reconciliation, managing open order reports and completing orders and raw ingredient responsibility. Provides production efficiency through downtime tracking and trending, OEE monitoring and 5 why resolution tracking.
Reviews daily production paperwork for completeness; assesses down time and reviews material and ingredient usage.
Updates SAP based on production on a daily/weekly basis and adjusts production order status in SAP, as necessary. Completes all goods movements against production orders in SAP. Also performs the TECO (Technical Completion) of all production orders and adjusts production order handling units, as required.
Calculates inventory usage numbers for all production orders. Performs inventory reconciliations in SAP as required, including coordinating cycle counts, as needed.
Manages the open order report through COOIS, including daily resolution of any entries.
Manages the COGI Errors, Confirmations, Daily Butter Usage, Daily Raw Cheese Usage, Daily Water Usage, Daily Slurry Usage reports, Almond Report and posts daily reconciliation of information.
Completes monthly review and informs accounting of any discrepancies.
Enters trial materials in SAP.
Identifies significant downtime and production variances and escalates as appropriate to Supply Chain Manager.
Works with Production team to evaluate downtime and production variances, in addition to tracking 5 “WHY” Resolution to determine root cause, also supports trending, reporting and corrective action tracking.
Assists with questions concerning SAP functions. Creates detailed instruction sheets for SAP transactions, as required.
Acts as a back-up and resource to support other Production and Supply Chain roles, including Production Scheduling Coordinator and ScorePop entry.
Works with Inventory Control to maintain inventory accuracy of both EWIN and SAP.
All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Education:
High school diploma and 3 years of experience in an administrative, production support or inventory control position is required.
Work experience with inventory control experience is required; working within a departmental budget is a PLUS.
Support experience in a production and/or food manufacturing environment is preferred.
Demonstrated intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office software is required, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of basic business terms.
Previous experience with SAP and knowledge of other ERP and WMS is a PLUS.

Working Conditions:
Work is performed largely in an office environment. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours and average at least 40 hours per week. There could be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines, and other concerns. Overtime and occasional holiday hours may be required. Employee is required to sit in front of a computer for several hours a day. Occasional lifting may be required. All Safety and Quality guidelines must be adhered to when working in the plant.
