Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a
Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Technical Architect
to support an enterprise implementation for a leading organization. The Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Technical Architect will provide end-to-end ownership of the Dynamics platform while designing and implementing scalable solutions leveraging the Power Platform and Azure.
This position will be hybrid in Fairfax, VA!
Responsibilities of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Technical Architect include:
Own and manage the full Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform including configuration, user setup, workflows, and lifecycle management
Design and architect enterprise solutions leveraging Power Platform components including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse
Develop and optimize business workflows including automation, routing, and digital processes
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions
Establish and maintain platform governance standards including environment strategy and ALM practices
Serve as the primary technical escalation point for troubleshooting, integrations, and performance issues
Lead architecture design sessions, workshops, and solution reviews with stakeholders and internal teams
Support integration with Azure services including Logic Apps, Functions, and API Management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and continuous platform improvement
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and oversight for small delivery teams
Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Dynamics 365
Support ongoing modernization efforts including adoption of new Microsoft features and capabilities
Qualifications of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Technical Architect include:
5+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM‑focused)
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse
Strong experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise application architectures
Experience developing workflows, automation, and digital processes within Dynamics and Power Platform
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Strong experience with Power BI dashboards and reporting
Hands‑on experience troubleshooting Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments
Experience leading technical delivery, workshops, and solution design sessions
Strong communication and client‑facing skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI‑driven solutions
Experience integrating Dynamics and Power Platform with Azure services
Familiarity with Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and API Management
Experience working with marketing or customer engagement platforms
Compensation for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Technical Architect includes:
Salary: Target up to $170,000 (based on experience)
