We are seeking a high-performing National Account Manager to lead strategic customer relationships, drive revenue growth, and execute go-to-market strategies across key distribution partners and national accounts.


Role Description

The National Account Manager will own and grow key distributor and customer relationships while driving sales strategy, assortment expansion, and execution across the Office & JanSan channel. This role requires a highly strategic seller who understands indirect distribution models, vendor partnerships, and complex B2B customer ecosystems.


The ideal candidate thrives in a consultative sales environment, builds strong customer partnerships, and can translate market insights into actionable growth strategies.


Supplier & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Serve as primary liaison between WGB suppliers and customer accounts

• Align supplier marketing plans with distributor promotional calendars

• Curate best in class assortment recommendations

• Partner with supplier operations, marketing, and finance teams to execute customer programs

• Provide supplier reporting, sales analytics, and opportunity tracking


Market Development & Customer Engagement

• Build relationships with merchant teams, category managers, and sales leadership

• Conduct customer presentations, trainings, and product demonstrations

• Support trade shows, customer events, and industry conferences

• Identify vertical market opportunities including education, healthcare, hospitality, and facilities maintenance


Performance & Reporting

• Analyze sales data and customer trends to develop growth initiatives

• Track KPIs including revenue, margin, assortment penetration, and promotional performance

• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting

• Provide weekly and monthly performance updates to leadership and supplier partners


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, distribution sales, or national account management

• Experience working within wholesale distribution or indirect sales channels preferred

• Strong understanding of Office Products, JanSan, or CPG distribution models is highly desirable

• Proven track record of achieving sales growth and managing key customer relationships

• Strong negotiation and strategic planning skills

• Excellent presentation and communication abilities

• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Experience

• Experience working with national distributors, contract stationers, or facility supply distributors

• Familiarity with CRM systems

• Experience managing vendor programs, promotional planning, or trade marketing initiatives

• Knowledge of item setup platforms, distributor portals, or product content systems


Work Structure & Compensation

• Competitive base salary + commission incentive structure
