Positions are fully remote for Texas resident only.
Salary Salary is commensurate based on qualifications and relevant experience up to $56,000. Pay Basis: Bi-weekly.
Job Summary Perform complex solicitation, evaluation and contract management work. Work involves developing and evaluating a broad range of contracts. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Develop and prepare solicitations, contracts and amendments by identifying provider resources, describing services to be rendered, evaluating information supplied by bidders, and negotiating contract specifications.
Coordinate and facilitate procurement related meetings such as pre-proposal meetings, post award conferences, team briefings and evaluation scoring.
Assist with negotiating contract renewals and amendments.
Assist in conducting needs assessments to determine requirements for the purchase of goods or services.
May monitor legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to contracting.
May recommend and facilitate the cancellation of contracts.
Performs related work as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in business administration, supply chain management or related field.
Certification from a professional purchasing organization. If not certified, must be certified within 18 months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in preparation, administration and management of solicitations (Requests For Proposals), evaluations and contracts.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent written and communication skills.
Excellent proficiency with MS Office Suite.
