The Recruiter/Generalist is a hybrid role responsible for leading full‑cycle recruiting while also providing broad HR generalist support across the employee experience. This role partners closely with hiring teams, department heads and the HR team to attract, hire, and support high‑quality talent, while helping maintain strong, compliant, and people‑centered HR practices. The ideal candidate is proactive, tech‑savvy, and comfortable using modern tools, including AI, to improve recruiting outcomes and HR operations. Owns and manages all phases of the recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning and sourcing through offer and onboarding. Owns the firm's campus recruiting efforts, including developing university partnerships, representing the firm at career fairs and recruiting events, and building sustainable pipelines for intern and entry‑level hires aligned with firm growth needs. Partners with department heads and hiring teams to design clear, compelling, and future‑focused job descriptions, hiring criteria, and interview plans that align with business needs, role expectations, and long‑term talent strategy. Designs and executes effective sourcing strategies using a mix of traditional, digital, and AI‑enabled recruiting tools. Leverages applicant tracking systems (ATS), AI‑assisted sourcing, resume screening, and candidate matching tools to improve speed, quality, and equity in hiring. Screens resumes and applications, conducts initial interviews, and advances qualified candidates through the process. Coordinates and schedules interviews; supports hiring teams with interview questions and structured selection tools. Participates in interviews and provides guidance to hiring teams on candidate evaluation and selection. Partners with HR and hiring teams during the offer process, including compensation alignment, start dates, and offer communications. Tracks recruiting metrics and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement. Ensures recruiting practices comply with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies. HR Generalist Support Provides HR support across all stages of employment, including onboarding, role and status changes, employee support, and offboarding, ensuring a consistent, compliant, and positive employee experience. Supports performance management processes, including review cycles, documentation, and performance guidance, consistent with a mature feedback culture. Assists with HR compliance activities such as personnel file maintenance, audits, and reporting. Supports benefits and leave administration processes by coordinating information, tracking requests, and communicating with employees. Maintains HR systems and data accuracy; assists with reporting, data cleanup, and process improvements. Uses AI and automation tools to streamline HR workflows, improve documentation quality, and enhance employee and manager self‑service. Provides general administrative and project support as needed. Required Skills & Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels. Strong interpersonal skills with sound judgment and the ability to build trust with candidates, employees, and leaders. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently. Experience creating and executing sourcing strategies for a variety of roles and skill levels. Comfort using modern HR technology, including ATS platforms, HRIS systems, and AI‑enabled recruiting or HR tools. Working knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to hiring and HR administration. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to confidentiality and data accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams); ability to quickly learn new systems and tools. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. 3-5 years of experience in full‑cycle recruiting required; combined recruiting and HR generalist experience strongly preferred.
