RUN Studios is looking for a

Digital Media Specialist

who will support production teams by managing the ingest, processing, quality control, and delivery of media assets across a wide range of workflows. This role is hands‑on and service‑oriented, ensuring that video and audio assets are technically accurate, accessible, and ready for use across internal and external platforms.

Working closely with producers, editors, engineers, and external partners, the Digital Media Specialist plays a critical role in keeping productions moving smoothly by solving technical problems, maintaining media standards, and adapting to constantly evolving tools and requirements. Continuous learning is an essential part of this role.

As a Digital Media Specialist, You Will:

Manage and track a high volume of production‑related email requests, prioritizing work, coordinating responses, and ensuring follow‑through on deliverables

Encode video and audio assets to specifications for multiple delivery platforms and use cases

Perform quality control (QC) on video and audio assets, validating picture, sound, captions, formats, and technical compliance prior to delivery

Design production paths and recommend best practices for compression and encoding projects

Ingest media from camera cards, external hard drives, and other sources into NAS and shared storage environments, ensuring proper organization and data integrity

Manage and support secure file transfers using approved platforms and workflows

Perform basic video editing tasks, including trims, simple assemblies, format conversions, and exports

Coordinate with external suppliers to obtain closed captions and audio descriptions, and verify accessibility deliverables meet required standards

Support digital signage workflows, including content preparation, updates, deployment, and basic troubleshooting

Troubleshoot video, audio, playback, and workflow issues encountered by production teams

Provide general technical support related to media formats, delivery requirements, and production workflows

Follow established workflows and documentation while contributing to ongoing process improvements

Prepare billing information and track work orders associated with media services and deliverables

As an Applicant, You Bring:

Strong proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office

Experience using cloud‑based tools, including OneDrive or similar file‑sharing and collaboration platforms

Hands‑on experience with video encoding, transcoding, and delivery specifications

Experience ingesting media from camera cards and external storage devices

Working knowledge of video and audio QC principles and common technical issues

Basic proficiency with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent)

Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency and mission when supporting productions

Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize work in a production environment

Ability to work well in group and highly collaborative environments

Familiarity with secure file transfer platforms

Experience supporting accessibility workflows, including closed captions and audio description

Experience with scripting or automation using tools such as PowerShell or Python

Experience supporting high‑volume media pipelines, live events, or digital signage systems

Experience reimaging Windows PCs and setting up production or workstation environments, including OS installation, configuration, and baseline application/tool setup

Experience creating production‑ready video content utilizing AI‑powered tools (e.g., generative video, AI‑assistant editing, upscaling, or automated workflows)

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Professional office and studio environment with exposure to fast‑paced, deadline‑driven workflows.

Onsite, 5‑days a week in Redmond, WA.

Compensation Pay Range: $26.00 - $30.00 (Hourly)

Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&DD benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
